Texas A&M Completes Acquisition

Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp announced that Texas A&M University has acquired all operational aspects of the Fort Worth law school that is currently part of Texas Wesleyan University and has authorized the start of classes there Monday, Aug. 19 under the name of the “Texas A&M University School of Law.”

Texas A&M President R. Bowen Loftin joined in praising the acquisition and emphasized it addresses one of  the key elements of the university’s “Vision 2020” long-range plan to become one of the nation’s top 10 public universities by the year 2020.
