Veterans Day Ceremonies

Stephanie Cannon '06 November 11, 2010 9:48 AM

In addition to the two public ceremonies the Corps of Cadets held on campus, the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band marched during a Veterans Day ceremony at Veterans Park in College Station on Thursday.

Back on campus, Class Councils hosted 11/11 Day. Each year, Class Councils hosts a card writing campaign that allows A&M students to write cards and letters of support for Aggie veterans and Aggies currently serving.

This year, Class Councils and the 11-11 Day Committee established the Class Councils Aggie Rings for Veterans Fund. Through this special giving opportunity, they are ensuring that student veterans who have earned their Aggie Rings have the financial resources to do so.
