College Station, TX

Printable Registration Form

HOWDY Class of ’77 – First in the Second Century!!

Let’s circle November 17-18, 2017 on our calendars and come home to College Station to celebrate our 40 Year Class Reunion!  We’ve planned plenty of time to visit old haunts, explore new ones, marvel how much B-CS has grown, reconnect with friends, and (hopefully) watch the Ags BTHO Ole Miss!

What’s happening, when, and where can be found in the information listed below.

Friday

  • 4 p.m. -- “Behind the Scenes” tours of Kyle Field
  • 6 p.m. -- Tour of Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park
  • 7 - 9 p.m. – Reception/buffet at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park Diamond Club
  • After the reception, the Aurora Room of the Stella Hotel provides another option for visiting, light snacks, and cash bar.

Saturday

  • Start the day with breakfast tacos at The Stella.
  • We move to Reunion Central at The Association of Former Students building. Times are uncertain until the TV folks tell us what time kickoff will be.
  • Class meeting will be two hours before kickoff; if it is an 11 am kickoff, we will meet after the game.  Chow down on fajitas, fixin’s, and a cash bar.
  • The Class group picture will be taken Saturday on The Association’s Ring Plaza, so be sure to wear your Aggie colors.
  • Watching the game in The Association’s building will be in a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere that will give us plenty of time to visit with classmates (read: air-conditioned, food and drink nearby, no rain to worry about).
  • The Stella’s Aurora Room will be open after the game if you’re game!

Need to Know

  1. The fabulous new Stella Hotel will be the Reunion Headquarters. You can pick up registration packets and pre-ordered reunion shirts starting on Friday at Blue Bell Park.

  2. Reunion shirts must be pre-ordered.  None will be available Post-Reunion. Several shirt styles are available at the CC Creations website:  Class of ’77 Shirts

  3. Remember the slide show of legacy and current photos shown at the 35th Reunion? We hope to update it and use as background “entertainment” on Saturday.  (The photos you submitted last time are still in the slide show!)  PLEASE email additional photos to class@aggienetwork.com.  These can be “vintage” or current shots of you and your classmates. Mention “Class of ’77 Photos for the Reunion” in the subject line.

  4. The current Class Agent team is planning on running again. Polly Marek, Rae Oldham, Doris Koch and Troie Burch have volunteered for another term. IF ANYONE else is in interested in running, please inform Josh Reinbolt ’99, jreinbolt99@aggienetwork.com. There is a section below on Class Agent responsibilities for more details or please feel free to ask Josh or any of us if you have questions.
