USS City Of Corpus Christi

HOWDY!
I am currently the supply officer on the forward deployed submarine USS City Of Corpus Christi (SSN 705). I’ve been with this command for just over a year now and have 17 months left. I have participated in several operations including Valiant Shield 2006 and a highly successful dry-docking in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, in December 2006, among others. We are the first ship in 20 years to complete a dry-docking at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard under budget and ahead of schedule. It has been an overwhelming experience and I look forward to the remainder of it. By the way, I am on the left—standing two rows directly behind the guy wearing the brown hardhat—holding the banner.
