This 10-night journey features 4 nights aboard a luxury ship on the Nile River. An Egyptologist will be at your side throughout this experience as you discover ancient Egypt’s other wonders: the Valley of the Kings, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun, the temples of Luxor and Karnak, the Great Temple of Ramses and much more. Explore the Egyptian Museum, see the artifacts of ancient Thebes at the Luxor Museum, and learn how ancient treasures are restored and preserved at the Oriental Institute’s Chicago House in Luxor. Also, enjoy a tour of Cairo, featuring some of the city’s most impressive mosques and its Coptic Christian churches.
