Polar Bears of Churchill Overflow Departure

October 25, 2016 - October 30, 2016

Much like the bears themselves, visitors make their way to Churchill each fall when temperatures drop, brimming with anticipation. Their reward: experiences of a lifetime. When polar bears awaken from summer hibernation, they descend upon the tiny seaport town of Churchill, forming the largest congregation of polar bears in the world. On this six-day wildlife expedition, watch the bears interact and play from a custom-designed Tundra Buggy during two day-long safaris. Enjoy the educational experiences that distinguish this program, including expert presentations from Churchill Northern Research Center, Polar Bears International, Manitoba Museum, the Eskimo Museum, and Parks Canada—as well as the quality guidance of a naturalist Orbridge Expedition Leader. Surrounded by experts and featuring up-close experiences, be part of this extraordinary natural phenomenon and unforgettable adventure.
