Jason Mahoney graduated from Texas A&M in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. As of 2018, he was the financial planning manager for Texas Instruments in Dallas.

His fondest memories of his time on campus are of Aggie baseball games, enjoying Slovacek’s sausages and relentlessly razzing opposing pitchers and coaches. Today he continues to embody the Aggie Spirit throughout his daily life, and is thankful for the chance to support other Aggies.

He said Texas A&M not only provides a quality education and opportunities in the workplace, but also instills core values in students that prepare them for their time after graduation. Those core values positively affected the way he conducts himself at work, how he thinks about his pursuits outside of work, and continually push him to be a better person.

Jason welcomed his wife Brenda into the Aggie Network, and both enjoy making a lasting legacy and providing other students with the opportunity to receive a valuable education.

“The Endowed Century Club is a great opportunity to leave behind a lasting legacy that continues to provide resources for many years to come,” he said. “We also trust that The Association of Former Students is in the best position to manage our gift by finding those in need and providing them with the necessary resources.”

We loved that at A&M while times change, the student experience stays roughly the same and we want to give back so future Aggies get to experience the same Aggie spirit we enjoyed so much.

Shara McClure graduated from Texas A&M in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in business analysis. Since then, being an Aggie has become an integral part of McClure’s personal and professional life.

During her time as a student, McClure was a member of Chi Omega sorority and was also a tour guide. She loved the opportunity to show visitors around campus and impart on prospective students her favorite parts about the university.

McClure’s two children, Melinda ’15 and Michael ’18, have continued the Aggie family legacy by attending Texas A&M. As her son approached graduation in 2018, McClure and her husband, Craig, wanted to honor the role that A&M has played in their family’s life by giving back through the Endowed Century Club. The McClure family takes pride in their Aggie legacy and is committed to ensuring that the values, traditions, and academics of Texas A&M live on for generations to come.
