Truman Jones served as the Technical Director for construction materials at Vulcan Materials Company. He also was a instructor, professor and research engineer for Texas A&M University, Texas Engineering Experiment Station and Texas Transportation Institute.

Robert Jones has been an anesthesiologist in private practice since 1985. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and was named Intern of the Year while serving his internship and residency in general surgery and anesthesiology with the Bexar County Hospital District. Jones was given a Physician Recognition Award from the American Medical Association.

After graduating from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Hiram Johnson began work with ARCO Oil and Gas Company. He served as ARCO’s Prudhoe Bay Field Manager. His assignments ranged from Engineering Manager to Asset Manager in locations including Dallas, Denver, Midland and Anchorage.

After a 30-year career with Gulf Oil Corporation directing engineering and operations for plants in Europe, Louisiana and Texas, Johnson did consulting and managed operations for PSE, Inc., DESTEC Energy and General Atomics. While at Texas A&M, Johnson earned Distinguished Student recognition and was a boxing champion.

Narit Jivasantikarn is President of Lamp-Tech College, which instructs 3,000 students in auto mechanics, electric power, electronics, surveying, constructions, architecture and computers. He worked briefly for Goodyear, managed a plant for Thai Pruorite Processing Co. and was a building contractor before founding Lamp-Tech College in 1980. He designed and constructed the buildings of his college as well as a public library where monks and college graduates research the Bali and Sanskrit languages.

John E. Jennings graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1951. After graduation he joined the United States Army and served until 1953, that included a 13 month tour in Korea in which he received a bronze star. In 1951 John joined Phillips Petroleum and worked there until his retirement in 1986. During his career he worked overseas in Venezuela, Singapore, and Norway. John currently resides in Richmond, Texas and has three children, Ronald, Cynthia, and John 1984.

Jon Jarvis ’68 graduated from Texas A&M in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Ag Economics and with a Bachelor of Science in sociology in 1969. He received his commission at A&M and served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972. Johnette ’70 graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting in 1970. She and Jon have owned and operated farming and ranching interests in the Texas panhandle since 1972. They were selected as Aggie Parents of the Year in 1999. Johnette and Jon reside in Stinnett, Texas. They have two children, Shanna Jarvis ’98 and Scott Jarvis ’00.

Joseph graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Geological Engineering. He began to work for Humble Oil & Refining Company for Houston, West Texas, & New Mexico. Joseph then served as President of Natural Resources Engineering, Inc. before taking on his current role as President of Tierra Exploration, Inc. Joseph credits the individuals that gave him the aid needed to develop into the person that he is today and would like to give fellow Aggies the chance to do the same.
