Pappas received bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Finance in 1967. He is President and Chief Financial Officer of Pappas Restaurants, Inc., a privately held company which operated over 60 restaurants with more than 6,000 employees in Houston, Austin, Dallas, Beaumont, San Antonio, Atlanta, Phoenix, Denver and Chicago. These include Pappas Bros. Steakhouse, C&H Steak Company, Pappas Seafood House, Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchens, Pappasito’s Cantina, Pappas BBQ and Dot Coffee Shop. He is also Chief Operating Officer of the Luby’s Cafeteria chain.
Pappas serves on the Texas A&M Foundation’s Development Advisory Committee and the Texas A&M College of Education Development Council. In addition, he is a Trustee of the Memorial Hermann Healthcare System in Houston and on the board of Oceaneering International, a publicly held firm. In 1999, he was named Outstanding Alumnus of Texas A&M’s Lowry Mays College and Graduate School of Business.

Dr. Josie Williams serves as Medical Director of the Texas Health Quality Alliance and specializes in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Williams received a bachelor’s degree in Zoology in 1971 from Texas A&M and a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio. She has served in leadership positions within U.S. Air Force medical centers and currently is Medical Director of the Texas Health Quality Alliance. Williams also served as the Chief of Staff at McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris and headed medical management for an urban health system in Fort Worth.
She has served on the Lamar County Texas A&M Scholarship Foundation Board, Paris Education Foundation Board of Directors, and the Texas Board of Higher Education Task Force. Williams was named Winn Dixie’s Citizen of the Year in 1994 and Lamar County’s YMCA Professional Woman of the Year in 1988. She is the first woman to be awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award.

Carter received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 1969 and was a distinguished military graduate as well as Student Body President. A Certified Financial Planner, he currently serves as President of Carter Advisory Services and Carter Financial Management.
Carter is a Past President of The Association of Former Students and a Past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Texas A&M University Foundation. He has received wide recognition for his personal and professional acumen. Little received bachelor’s, master’s and Doctorate of Petroleum Engineering degrees. Near the end of his 32-year career with Shell Oil Company, he was named President and Chief Executive Officer.
He received Texas A&M’s Look College of Engineering Outstanding Alumni Honor Award, the Texas A&M Department of Petroleum Distinguished Alumni Award, and the Distinguished Achievement Medal from Texas A&M as well. Little was named an Outstanding Houston Aggie by the Houston A&M Club.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of America and M.D. Anderson Board of Visitors and on the Board of Trustees of the Baylor College of Medicine and Houston Baptist University.

Richardson received a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1942. He served as President of Richardson Chevrolet, the largest dealership in the U.S., and Standard Life Insurance Co. Richardson helped finance several Texas A&M projects, including contributing $6 million for The Zone at Kyle Field, which was named in his honor.
He endowed the Jean & Bernard C. Richardson ’41 General Rudder Corps Scholarship, the President’s Endowed Scholarship, a 12th Man Endowed Scholarship, a Diamond Century Club Endowment, and he provided the funding for the Medal of Honor bas-reliefs at the Sanders Corps Center. He is a member of the Corps of Cadets and Lettermen’s Association Halls of Honor.

Stallings received a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education in 1958. He coached collegiate and professional teams for Texas A&M, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Phoenix Cardinals. In 1992 he led the University of Alabama football team to a national championship.
He was awarded the Humanitarian Club Award by the Lion’s Club of Huntsville Alabama, and because of his instrumental fund raising for the RISE Program building and devoting an unregulated amount of time with families of individuals with disabilities the building was named the Stallings Center in his honor.

Adams received a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics/Physics in 1961. After graduation from A&M he served as an officer in the US Army on active duty until 1963 with the US Army Signal Corp. He later received a Master’s and Doctorate degree in Statistics and Business Finance from the University of Texas. In 1992, he was named Group President of SBC Communications, Inc. and also served as Chairman of the Board of Texas Instruments, Inc. from 1996-1998.
In addition to his career involvement, he was co-founder of the Dallas Partnership, the economic development arm of the Dallas Chamber of Commerce and also chaired the Economic Development Task Force to develop legislative plans for the Governor’s Office. Adams and his wife, Judy, have three children, Dana, Leslie, and Jim.

Hagler received a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics in 1958 and earned a master’s of Business Administration from Harvard University in 1963. As a student, he served as a Ross Volunteer and was Corps of Cadets commander his senior year.
Hagler has managed mutual funds for numerous investment firms but mostly recently for Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co., LLC of which he is a Partner. He currently serves on The Association of Former Students Board of Directors.

In 1983, he was named Director of Public Works for the City of Houston and later founded Klotz Associates, Inc., for which he served as President and Chairman of the Board. He was involved in projects to expand football stadiums at Texas A&M, the University of Texas, and the University of Oklahoma.

Yosufzai received a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 1974. While at Texas A&M, he served as Vice President of the Student Body and the Chairman Pro Tempore of the Student Senate. He serves as Corporate Vice President of Caltex Petroleum Corp., a joint venture of Texaco and Chevron, and President of Caltex Lubricants. He is the recipient of several awards. In 1995, he was awarded AIChE’s Robert L. Jacks Memorial Award for his contributions to both the management of engineers and the Chemical Process industries. He was appointed Chair of the Council of Societal Impact of AIChE.
Yozufzai was the first former student to be awarded both the Distinguished Alumnus Award and the Outstanding International Alumnus Award.
