    Colors, Coast and Coves

The 12-day ‘Colors, Coasts & Coves’ cruise offers a taste of French culture and cuisine, Scottish immigrant history, New England hospitality, as well as Canadian and U.S. history. Ports include Newport, Rhode Island, where the Rockefellers and Astors summered during the Gilded Age; Rockland, a picturesque hamlet north of Boston; Bar Harbor, the quintessential Maine fishing village; St John, New Brunswick; quaint Halifax, Sydney and Charlottetown in Nova Scotia; Corner Brook, Newfoundland; and historic Quebec City, the 400-year-old "heart of French Canada."  Scenic highlights include cruising in the Bay of Fundy, Saguenay Fjord and St. Lawrence River.

Thoughtfully designed optional tours and excursions enhance the destination experience and include a horse-drawn carriage tour of Quebec City; visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Lunenburg fishing village; and a lobster lunch at Dalvay by the Sea, the 19th-century summer home built by then Standard Oil chief Alexander MacDonald. Outdoor activities include cycling Acadia National Park and Prince Edward Island and kayaking coves in Maine and Nova Scotia.
