This rare voyage of the Western Mediterranean offers a spectacular itinerary. Your journey begins in Rome with its magnificent monuments from the ancient Roman Forum and Coliseum to the splendor of St. Peter’s Basilica, the Pieta and Michelangelo’s breathtaking frescoes in the Sistine Chapel. Monte Carlo offers stunning views of the Old City with its marvelous quarter and pink Grimaldi Palace. Visit vibrant Livorno, the gateway to historic Pisa and legendary Florence, two favorite excursions that never fail to amaze. Cruise the rugged Amalfi Coast and explore chic Positano with its white Moorish-style houses clinging to steep slopes around a sparkling bay filled with colorful fishing boats. In Taormina, enjoy magnificent panoramic views, stroll down medieval lanes past stunning palaces. Next is Corfu and its lovely old Venetian quarter and Kotor, a beautiful walled medieval city of twisting, pink-paved streets, markets and Byzantine architecture.
