The Lewis and Clark Expedition was the greatest camping trip of all time, the greatest hunting trip and one of the greatest scientific expeditions ever.  The drama in the story is intense and the setting presents jaw-dropping vistas in every bend of the trail.  This range provides material for every interest, and even draws in those who thought they would not be interested.”  – Stephen E. Ambrose

Join us for a modern day reenactment of the discovery of the West.  Follow the steps of the legendary discoverers as we follow their trail from Fort Benton, Montana on to the Missouri River where we will encounter the same isolated and awesome cliffs which welcomed Lewis and Clark.  Enjoy Camp Fortunate where Lewis and Clark made critical first contact with the Shoshone Indian Nation.  William Clark wrote that he and his men shared a relaxing soak with members of the Nez Perce tribe in the renowned Lolo Hot Springs.   Let us do the same some 200 years later.

Ten full days of the rediscovery of the West just like the pioneers did it as they explored the Bitterroot Mountains with its breathtaking views and peaks left alone for us to enjoy since Lewis and Clark discovered them back in 1805.
