Garry W. Tucker 
January 16, 1955 – February 16, 2023

Garry W. Tucker, age 68, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023.

He was born in Levelland on January 16, 1955 to Robert Earl Tucker and Thresa L. Tow Tucker.

He graduated from Levelland High School. He then went on to graduate from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor’s Degree and Texas Tech University with a Master’s Degree. He worked as a Petroleum Engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Earl Tucker (father) and Thresa L. Tow Tucker (Mother).

Garry is survived by his children Nathan Tucker (Toni) of Amarillo, Texas, Lindsay Shadden (Justin) of Lubbock, Texas, Stephanie Andrews of Amarillo, Texas, Matthew Andrews of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren Addilynn, Holly and Mazie Shadden of Lubbock, Texas; sisters Kay Newberry of Arlington, Texas, Fay Powers (Joe) of Arlington, Texas; nieces and nephews Sheila Golen (Dave) of Kingsville, Ohio, Jeff Newberry (Rachel) of Spring, Texas, Kristi Stokeley (Tony) of Arlington, Texas, Cliff Powers (Brandi) of New Braunfels, Texas.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 24 at 1:00 p.m. at First Assembly of God Church in Lubbock, Texas.
