Timothy Randall "Tim" Loser

March 25, 1970 - May 27, 2022

On Friday May 27, 2022, Timothy Randall Loser passed away after a short battle with cancer. Tim was born in 1970 to parents Greg and Valita Loser and grew up with his brothers Ron and Matt.

He graduated from his beloved school, Texas A&M University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1992. He met Karrin at Texas A&M and they were married on April 3, 1993. They raised three beautiful daughters and have one grandson.

Tim lived a wonderful life, full of family and friends. He was the smartest and funniest person most people ever met. He could make a new friend in any situation with a quick joke and a hearty laugh. Tim grew up on military bases and had a genuine curiosity for learning.

He loved his time at Texas A&M and carried that love throughout the rest of his life, telling everyone that knew him about the traditions. He was fascinated with all of the nuances of the world. Over his career, Tim got to travel to all of the garden spots of the Oil and Gas industry. On each trip, he was never afraid to ask 20 million questions about their language, their food, and their way of life. When he got back home, he was always excited to share what he learned on his trip with anyone that would listen. This fascination helped hone one of Tim’s skillsets that made him so genuine with everyone. Tim volunteered at his girls’ school, coached their teams, officiated for swim meets, led the swim team and athletic booster club, worked with special Olympics, volunteered for UMARMY and Fort Bend Ramps and was always ready to help the community.

Tim is survived by his parents Greg and Valita Loser, his wife Karrin ’91, three daughters and one son in law Logan Loser, Erin Loser ’23, and Morgan and Colby Snyder, 2 brothers Ron Loser and family, Matt Loser ’97 and family, one grandson Watson Snyder as well as other extended family.
