Frank Dublin Jr. '66 March 2, 2023 2:26 PM updated: March 2, 2023 2:41 PM

Frank Winfield Dublin, Jr.

September 2, 1944 - January 17, 2023

Frank Winfield Dublin, Jr. passed from this life on Tuesday afternoon, January 17, in Jacksonville, Texas, at the age of 78. As a Christian man, devoted husband, father, and grandfather (PopPop), who loved his whole community, he is joining the Lord's family in Heaven.

His loving legacy will be carried on by his Bride of 55 years, Sue Dotson Dublin (aka "Suzy Q"), who did on occasion exhibit grace only known by the Lord almighty. Family traditions will continue with his fine offspring, Trey Dublin and wife Megan, of Flint, Texas, and Dean and wife Jill, of Jacksonville, Texas, two brothers Butler Dublin and wife Lilly and Robert Dublin and wife Tina, and sister, Devon Morgan and husband Pete. Gracious hosting and friendly smiles move forward in the host of grandchildren Trenton Dublin, Trevor Dublin, Jackson Dublin, Julianna Dublin, Tytan Dublin, Walker Dublin, Tate Dublin, Thatcher Dublin, and Lizzie Dublin, as well as several nieces and nephews complimented by the vast friendships. If you received a hug, silver coin, or one of those "printed only for Frank Dublin $2 bills"... you were in that circle.

Born on September 2, 1944, unto and preceded in death, Rosemary Rolston and Frank W. Dublin, Sr, his first greeting was heard in Ft. Sam Houston San Antonio, Texas. Upon graduating Texas A&M University Class of '66, where he fostered the love of drawing buildings in Architecture studies, he ultimately supported the family business as a produce broker.

Including his devotion to family, he served as a Mason supporting the missions of York Rite and Scottish Rite, Lions Club, Jacksonville Rodeo Association, held a yachting pilots license with the United States Power Squadron, and absolutely loved serving the Gideons, as he shared the power of Jesus Christ in written word.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Monday, January 23, at Autry Funeral Home with Mr. Adam Pogue of Southside Church of Christ, Jacksonville, Texas, where Mr. Dublin attended. Interment will follow at Still Waters Memorial Park. The family would love to celebrate Frank's smiles, hugs, and love for life during visitation from 4 - 6pm on Sunday, January 22 at Autry Funeral Home at 1025 Southeast Loop 456, Jacksonville.

The family has suggested that, in lieu of floral tributes, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association, 1125 Judson Road No. 15, Longview, Texas 75761, Hospice of East Texas, 4111 University Blvd, Tyler, Texas 75701, American Diabetics Association, or the charity of your choice. And to truly carry on his tradition, feel free to "pay it forward" with a hug, kind word, and/or smile as you go about your day.

Arrangements are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, 5400 North Street, 1025 Southeast Loop 456, Jacksonville, Texas. Online obituary and guestbook is posted at www.autryfuneralhome.com
