Joe Eddie Hill

January 9, 1943 - January 12, 2023

Joe Eddie Hill, age 80, of Brownwood passed away Thursday, January 12, 2023, at Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene.

Celebration of Life for Joe will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.

Joe was born on January 9, 1943, to Wayland and Lorene (Kellum) Hill in Brownwood. After graduating from Brownwood High School, Joe went on to graduate from Texas A&M. He remained an avid Aggie supporter and fan. Joe loved watching football and drag races, as well as hunting and fishing.

Joe is survived by his sister, Barbara Bonilla of Lake Charles, LA; three nieces, Nicole Harrington and husband Brad of Lake Charles, LA, Brittany Norwood and husband Justin of Lake Charles, LA, and Tara Greer of League City, TX; several great-nieces and great-nephews; along with numerous friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayland and Lorene Hill. Joe was fortunate enough to have two great loves in his life, Brenda Kay Harper and Beverly Gober, both whom also preceded him in death.
