Jacob Daniel Williamson
April 8, 1997 - January 2, 2023

Jacob Daniel Williamson cherished son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, passed away unexpectedly after a brief battle with Covid on January 2, 2023.

Jake was born April 8, 1997, in Davenport, Iowa to Teresa Williamson and Kyle Williamson. Jake lived in Iowa for the first 11 years of his life and moved to Texas in 2008 with his mom and sister, Madison. Jake was a 2015 graduate of Byron Nelson High School where he excelled in academics as well as athletics. Jake was a life-long swimmer not only competitively, but also as a lifeguard and swim coach for the Trophy Club Tritons.

Jake graduated in 2018 from Texas A&M University, after which he spent one year in Vietnam teaching English as a second language to children. Jake rediscovered his passion for medicine while working as a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy in Westlake, Texas and decided to attend medical school to pursue a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine.

Jake was knowingly an intelligent young man who strived to share his knowledge with the world. He meant more than words can express to his family, particularly his mother and sister. Jake was compassionate, kind, quick-witted and loving. Jake had a huge desire to always help others and enjoyed spending many hours volunteering at 121 Community Church and at GRACE (Grapevine Relief And Community Service).

Jake leaves a void that will never be able to be filled but we take comfort in knowing he rests in the hands of his Maker and will spend the rest of his heavenly days looking over his family.

Services to remember the amazing gift that was Jake’s life will be held on Monday, January 9th at 10:30 a.m. at 121 Community Church, located at 2701 Ira E. Woods Avenue, Grapevine, Texas 76051. Following the service, family will be receiving guests at GRACE, located at 837 E. Walnut Street, Grapevine, Texas 76051.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to GRACE www.gracegrapevine.org

Jake is survived by his mother Teresa, sister Madison, father Kyle and large extended family, as well as the recipients of his incredibly selfless gift of organ donation.
