Charles F. Johnson

January 29, 1940 - November 25, 2022

Charles Frederick Johnson passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022 in the company of his beloved wife, Mary Margaret Johnson.

Charles was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 29, 1940 and grew up in Pasadena Texas, which is where he also met his wife Mary. Charles graduated from Texas A&M in 1962. Charles went to work as an agent with Fidelity Union Insurance after graduation and he and Mary made their home in College Station.

Charles and Mary raised two sons, Brad and Scott Johnson. Charles's focus was on providing for his family while managing to have fun along the way. He got his pilot license and flew for pleasure. The family enjoyed countless trips to Somerville for skiing and camping, but his greatest love was looking good on the ski slopes of Colorado.

Charles was the ultimate entrepreneur and was always looking for new opportunities as he always could identify a win-win solution. He had the heart to help those who were trying to help themselves and even in the end he asked his son Scott what he could do for him. He will truly be missed.

Charles was proceeded in death by his parents and his oldest son Brad. He is succeeded by those he also loved, his wife of 62 years Mary Margaret Johnson, his youngest son Scott Johnson and wife Rachel, and grandchildren Chandler Robertson, Cooper Johnson and Reese Johnson.
