Daniel Jeffrey "Dan" Fennesy
April 30, 1989 - November 19, 2022

Daniel "Dan" Jeffrey Fennesy, 33, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, at his home in Richmond, TX. He was born on April 30, 1989, in Houston to Vincent and Danette Fennesy.

Dan worked as a Senior Contract Administrator at Fluor Corporation and was a loud and proud member of the Texas A&M graduating class of 2011. His quick wit and humor were a joy to all who had the pleasure of encountering him. Family and friends looked forward to the occasions when he would lead the fireworks display every 4th of July and New Years, as he was not one to hold back when it came to celebrations and pyrotechnics.

He loved being outdoors, nature documentaries, and a huge variety of music. More than anything, Dan was a sports fanatic. He was a gifted athlete and played high school football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. He joked that his greatest accomplishment at Texas A&M was winning basketball intramurals. ESPN was his go-to and he loved all sports, especially his fantasy teams.

His life is celebrated by his parents, Vincent Fennesy, Danette Julian Fennesy, 3 siblings, Kyle, Patti, and Sean Fennesy along with a host of other loving family members and friends. His beloved dog, Cracker Jack, will miss him dearly. He is preceded in death by grandparents Tom Fennesy, Dante and Jerry Julian.

A funeral Mass will be held Monday, November 28, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 507 S. 4th Street in Richmond.

For those who are unable to attend the funeral Mass, there will be a visitation on Sunday, November 27, from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. and a vigil service from 3:00-4:00 P.M. in the Chapel at Davis Greenlawn Funeral Home (3900 B.F. Terry Blvd).

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages a donation to the Aggie Mom’s Club of Ft. Bend County which supports two of Dan’s great passions: sports and Texas A&M. https://fortbendmoms.aggienetwork.com/donate/
