Lester "Les" Otis Warner
June 17, 1961 - September 15, 2022

Lester “Les” Otis Warner of Blanco, TX went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, September 15, 2022 after a long and courageous battle with ALS. He passed peacefully with his wife and children by his side.

Les was born June 17, 1961 in Harlingen, TX to James Albert Warner and Janis (Brooks) Warner. He graduated from Harlingen High School in 1979 before receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Texas A&M University.

Les began his professional career as a Manager for Luby’s Restaurants. He then worked for Stepco Restaurant Equipment in Harlingen, TX and later Top of the Table Restaurant Equipment in San Antonio, TX. Les owned his own business for 16 years, A.J. Premier Food Service Equipment prior to retiring from Mission Restaurant Supply in 2020.

For over 20 years Les officiated High School football in the Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio, and Hill Country areas.

His passion was spending time with his family and watching his children in all of their sporting activities. He coached all three of his children as they grew in their own respective sports. He was on numerous boards for youth sports as well.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Cynthia (King) Warner; their three children, Justin Warner and wife Kristie, Alyssa Keilers and husband Aaron, and Kenzie Warner; parents, James and Janis Warner; sister, Robin Humphrey and husband Kevin; brother, Randy Warner and wife Kelli; and grandchildren, Hayden and Maren Keilers. Les is also survived by nieces, a host of other loving relatives and many dear friends.

A visitation with the family will begin at 2:30 PM Monday, September 19, 2022 at Blanco United Methodist Church, 61 Pecan St., Blanco, TX 78606 where funeral services will be held that afternoon at 4:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Historic Blanco Cemetery.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the staff of Hill Country Memorial Hospice for their compassion and care; their church family at Blanco United Methodist Church for the continued thoughts and prayers; and especially to all the family and friends for the love and support throughout this journey.
