Roll Call Tribute

Frank Foy Hall
April 2, 1940 - September 20, 2022

Frank was born in Seymour, Texas to Jack and Florence Hall. He lived in Westover, Texas and attended school in Westover and Megargel High School.

Upon graduation from high school he attended Texas A&M University from 1958 to 1966, receiving a PhD in biochemistry. Frank was a member of the Corp of Cadets at Texas A&M and served for two years in the medical branch of the Army at Fort Sam Houston. He received the rank of captain while serving in the military.

Frank married Judy Brom on February 23, 1963. They had been married fifty-nine and one half years. They have five living children and fourteen grandchildren. Frank’s career in biochemistry took the family to various towns in Texas and then to Massachusetts and Missouri, and finally back to his beloved home state, Texas, where he remained until his death.

Frank retired from Quest Diagnostics Laboratory yet continued consulting for a medical company up until his death. Frank loved God, his family, and the Aggies. These loves were evident in his faithfulness in receiving the sacraments, devotedness to his wife, Judy, and his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren affectionately call him Paw Paw.

His love for the Aggies resulted in lifetime friendships with classmates and rooting for his team during the football season. His hobbies included travel with Judy, painting, restoring furniture, reading, collecting antique books, and working on his sprinkler system.

Paw Paw was loved by all and taught us by example how to live a virtuous, holy, faithful life.
