Colbert W. Trawhon, DDS
August 27, 1941 - August 20, 2022

Colbert W. Trawhon, DDS previous resident of Baytown, Texas left this earthly home to permanently reside with his heavenly father on August 20, 2022. Colbert was born August 27, 1941, in Orange, Texas.

He was a graduate of Stark High School, Texas A&M University, and University of Texas Dental School. He served in the US Army as a dentist in Viet Nam during 1967-1968. Colbert was a life-time member of the American Dental Association, past President of Baytown Dental Study Club, Baytown Lyons Club, and Baytown Junior Chamber of Commerce.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Aggie football, and horse racing. He accomplished his travel bucket list traveling Costa Rica, Mexico, Europe and China. Colbert enjoyed his Christian Men’s Bible Study group at 6 a.m. on Friday.

He was blessed with four children, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild, and one on the way. Colbert was preceded in death by his father, Colbert Wilbur Trawhon of Orange, Texas and Veta Hale of Vidor, Texas; and his son, Jean Colbert Trawhon. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Glenda Trawhon; daughter Misty Trawhon Radicioni and husband Duane; sons, Todd Trawhon and wife Trema, Troy Trawhon and wife Leigh Ann; and grandchildren, Mackenzie Burleigh, Claire Harvey, Pate Arena, Drake Trawhon, Brock Radicioni, Conner Trawhon, Lacy Trawhon, Jenna Radicioni and Lauren Tadicioni; great grandchild, Briggs Burleigh; and brothers, Ronnie Hale, Rocky Hale, and sister, Vicki Hale; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at 6427 E. Wallisville Rd., Baytown, Texas from 2 to 4 p.m. Colbert’s favorite gumbo and BBQ will be served. In lieu flowers Colbert’s favorite charities are St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – stjude.org and SmileTrain – smiletrain.org
