James Ross Killen
January 25, 1946 - August 26, 2022

James Ross Killen, age 76, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022, in San Antonio, surrounded by family and friends.

James was born in Corpus Christi and graduated from Miller High School. He graduated Texas A&I in Kingsville followed by a career as a USAF pilot and instructor. He continued his love of flying with a career as a commercial airline pilot for Saudi Arabian, Braniff, and Continental Airlines.

In his retirement he enjoyed world travel, Texas A&M football, golf with his buddies, and spending time with family and close friends.

He was preceded in death by, his father Bennett Ross Killen and mother Rachel Lee Killen (Coates).

James is survived by his son, James Killen Jr. (Elizabeth); granddaughters, Taylor Ramirez (Jason), Tanner Killen, and Abigail Parker; great-grandson, Landon Archer; sister, Betty Sue Killen; brother, Bennett Lee Killen.
