Waylon Grant Collins
March 12, 2004 - June 2, 2022

Waylon Grant Collins, 18, of Tomball, TX, passed away June 2, 2022. He was born March 12, 2004, in Houston, Texas.

He is survived by his father and mother Chris & Misti Collins.

Waylon was an independent person who was not afraid to take a risk. This would lead him into trouble sometimes, but it also made his life richer because many of the risks helped others and shaped his character. He was unyielding, in other words, stubborn, because he was the son of Chris & Misti. His fun-loving friendly personality caused him to be loved by all.

Waylon was a leader who everyone wanted to follow. His younger brothers and cousins idolized him and wanted to be just like him. Waylon was a loyal friend which is evident by the relationships he had built with the young men and women who have been flooding our home. The bonds formed were so strong, we have been proudly amazed as his parents to see how God is using Waylon’s friendships to further HIS Kingdom at this very moment.

Waylon loved baseball and spent most of his life playing. He devoted many hours of hard work to make the varsity Tomball baseball team, which he accomplished.

He was a believer in Jesus Christ and was learning to follow him. If you knew him, you loved him, and your life was enriched.

The family will receive visitors Friday, June 10, 2022, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Houston Northwest Church, 19911 State Highway 249, Houston, TX 77070. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Champion Forest Baptist Church, 15555 Stuebner Airline Rd, Houston, TX 77069. Private burial.

Serving as pallbearers are Davis Morton, Bryce Citro, Brandon Perry, Cullen Crain, Hayden Burns, Kale Berter, Wade Eslick, Chase Mora, Brock Stanton, Nathan Jilg.
