Adam Trent Massey

July 23, 1982 - August 22, 2022

Adam Trent Massey, 40, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 22, 2022. He was born July 23, 1982.

He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor s Degree and was an extremely proud Aggie. He was employed by Cherry Companies for 16 years. He was a loyal, hard-working, very successful Sales Manager, and an exceptional provider for his family.

Visitation will be held from 11 AM - 1 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel prior to services beginning.
Funeral services for Adam will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tracy Sims officiating.
Graveside and burial will follow later that same afternoon, beginning at 3:30 PM at Tennesse Colony Cemetery in Anderson County, Texas.

He was a wonderful and loving son, husband, father, son-in-law, uncle and friend. His wife, Brooke and children, Abbey and Brady, were his truest joys. In his spare time, he loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing or cooking. He was known as a foodie . He was a Master Chef at grilling his specialties for his family and friends. He was also an animal lover who adored his dogs, Kate and Roxy and his cat Meowmers. Adam will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He will also be remembered for his charm and infectious smile.

He is preceded in death by his mother Cherry Massey. Left to cherish his memory are his father, George Massey; stepmother Vonda Massey; loving wife, of 11 years, Brooke Massey; son Brady Massey; daughter Abbey Massey; brother Anson Massey, father and mother-in-law Richard & Celeste Halata; brothers-in-law Brian Halata, Jack Wiggins, Mike Tucker; sisters-in-law, Jill Halata, Brianne Tucker, Brittany Wiggins and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

A visitation service will be held for Adam on Thursday, August 25, 2022, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 West Broadway, Pearland, TX. Times are from 6:00 8:00 pm, 7:00pm Vigil with Rev. Wayne Wilkerson.

Pallbearers: Anson Wilson, Tommy Skidmore, J.P Matshik, Adam Fitte, Robert McFarland., B.J. Kirkpatrick, Brian Halata, and Shane Masters.
