July 7, 1947 - July 11, 2022

Johnie Lee Perry, 75, of Caldwell, Texas passed away peacefully on July 11, 2022 after a twenty-year battle with Parkinsons disease. He fought hard, but with love, surrounded by family and friends that gave him strength.

A public visitation is scheduled in his honor at 9:00 AM, Friday, July 15, 2022 followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM, in the chapel at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell. Interment will follow at Caldwell Masonic Cemetery.

Johnie was born on July 7, 1947, to Hubert and Laura Perry. He graduated High School from Caldwell, Texas, then went on to continue his studies at Blinn College. Johnie then attended Texas A&M University and graduated in 1969, a true Aggie.

Johnie loved all sports, including with football, golf, fishing and hunting. His love and devotion for his parents was exceptional.

He is survived by his uncle and Aunt Ernest and Bonnie Malkey, Uncle Phil Perry and wife Cindy, Aunt Velma and Husband Jim Morales, and numerous cousins.

Johnie accepted as his Lord and Savior Jesus, and was baptized at the Cowboy Church in Caldwell on July 31, 2016. He continued to faithfully serve the Lord from that day on.

Serving as pallbearers will be Danny Brack, Larry Hannon, Chet Hannon, Devin Hannon, Brandon Malkey, Rafael Martinez as well as Jim Limmer, devoted friend. Special thanks to Ernest Malkey for his love and dedication to the family during this most difficult time.
