Janet Elaine (Reynolds) Huffman
August 27, 1955 ~ August 9, 2022

Janet Elaine Huffman was called to God and eternal rest on August 9th, 2022 with her family by her side. A Funeral Service will be 11 am, Monday, August 15th at Crestview Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A Visitation with the family will be 4-6 pm, Sunday, August 14th at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Janet was born on August 27, 1955 in Victoria, TX to Dr. and Mrs. Tom D. Reynolds. She grew up in College Station, TX where she followed in her family’s footsteps to earn her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from her beloved Texas A&M University. The only things she loved more than Texas A&M sports were her Lord and Savior, her beloved husband, Fred, her son, Eric, and daughter, Sarah. Janet was a devoted and loyal friend who always brought laughter and joy to any situation.

Janet loved being involved and active. She participated in the band and was a twirler during her time at A&M Consolidated High School in College Station and was a founding member of the Xi Kappa chapter of Chi Omega at Texas A&M. She was a kind and compassionate soul, and loved working in education and serving others. She spent over 20 years working as a Diagnostician for Midway ISD before retiring and spending time volunteering at the Crestview Church of Christ prison ministry, food pantry and FriendSpeak ministry. Janet loved drawing and painting in her spare time and enjoyed road trips across the United States with her husband.

Janet was preceded in death by her father, Dr. Tom D. Reynolds. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Huffman, of Lorena, TX; her son, Eric Zonneveld, of Lorena, TX; her daughter, Sarah Davis and husband, Jeff, of Fort Worth, TX; her mother, Betty Reynolds, of Austin, TX; her sister, Lee Anne Myers and husband, Monty, of Austin, TX. She is also survived by numerous nephews, extended family members and friends.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The National Kidney Foundation, Crestview Church of Christ Prison Ministries or Crestview Church of Christ Food Pantry in her name.
