Thomas Henry Bravenec
April 16, 1937 — July 2, 2022

Thomas Henry Bravenec Sr., 85, left to be with his Lord on July 2, 2022

A loyal and honest family man, Thomas was always smiling, very positive, and willing to help.

Thomas grew up in the Heights of Houston, Texas and worked on a tug boat for Edwards Transportation in the summer times. A very intelligent man, he earned a degree in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M and a Master in Business Administration from North Texas University. He worked in Aerospace and held positions at LTV, Chrysler Technology, Dee Howard, and worked in many top-secret programs. He earned many awards for his achievements and these opportunities enabled him to travel around the world!

The greatest days of his life included his marriage to Peggy and the birth of his children. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will always be remembered by greeting them with “Hi, Love.” He loved everything about A&M University and especially cherished the 2021 Alabama vs A&M football game, his 60th birthday in Las Vegas, and family time at Christmases, birthday parties, and family reunions.

Thomas is now reunited with his parents, Henry and Betty Bravenec, and several cousins.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Beth Sickler and husband Todd, Tommy Bravenec Jr and wife Josefina, Cindy Woolum and husband Todd, Rynda Guthrie and husband Gerald, and Missy O’Brien and husband George; grandchildren, Tarah Stallings and husband Seth, Connor Woolum, Caitlyn Heller and husband Travis, and Hunter Bravenec; great-grandchildren, Ruby Stallings, Nova Stallings, Coral Stallings, Sheppard Stallings, and Henry Heller; siblings, Ruth Martin and husband Roger and George Bravenec and wife Charlotte; several nephews and one niece; extended family; and his furry family members, Coco and Chloe.

Tom will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
