Edwin Charles Meers, age 63, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Charles and Virginia Meers on March 13, 1959, in Dallas, Texas. He met Pam Mullens on July 4, 1977 and they dated for 9 years before marrying on December 14, 1985 at First Baptist Dallas. Together they have two daughters, Jennifer (married to Nicholas Jones) and Jessica (married to Chris Patton) and two granddaughters, Kate and Claire Jones.

He graduated from Texas A&M in 1983 with a degree in Engineering Technology, and worked for General Dynamics (later Lockheed Martin) in Fort Worth for his entire career. Ed had a brilliant mind and was well-known among his family and friends for being able to fix anything as long as you had the patience to wait for it to be done within his timeline and budget.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle who was committed to protecting, caring and providing for the ones he loved. He loved tinkering with any kind of machine, flying airplanes, and going on fishing trips with friends.

A Service for Edwin Charles Meers will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park.
