Charles Taylor McGinnis, IV
September 30, 1975 - June 30, 2022

Memorial service for Mr. Charles Taylor McGinnis, IV 46, of Houston, Texas will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2022, 1:00 p.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Mr. McGinnis IV passed away June 30, 2022, in Hattiesburg, MS.

Charles was born on 30 September 1975 to Mr. & Mrs. Charles T. McGinnis, III in Petersburg General Hospital, Petersburg, VA. He moved to Willingboro, NJ in 1978. In 1979, Charles IV and his mother joined his father in Tongduchon, Korea. The family moved to Taegu, Korea where Charles began his formal education at Taegu DoD School.

The family transferred to Seoul in 1985 where Charles attended Seoul DoD School. In 1989 he was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. The family moved to Killeen, TX in 1990. Charles attended Ellison H.S. He lettered in both track and cross-country for three years. He graduated from Ellison H.S. with honors in 1993.

In the fall he entered Texas A&M following McGinnis tradition begun with his great-uncle Kamp in 1896, four more great uncles and grandfather in 1928, his father in 1966.

As a member of the Class of 1997, after graduation he joined the firm of Telecheck in November 1998. He rose through the ranks reaching a position of Director of Product Management for Fiserv, Inc.

He is survived by his parents Mr. Charles T. McGinnis, III and Mrs. Bokim S. McGinnis of Killeen, TX; sons Charles T. McGinnis, V and Zachary R. McGinnis of Houston.
