Jack Cody Milligan
June 13, 1931 ~ May 23, 2022

Jack Cody Milligan, age 90, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022. He was born in Decatur, Texas on June 13, 1931, to George & Minnie Pearl Milligan. He was a graduate of Kaufman High School in Kaufman, TX, class of 1949. He graduated from Texas A & M, College Station, TX. in 1952, and University of Austin, TX in 1960. He served in the Army as First Lieutenant for 4 years. He was in Korea serving in the war becoming a decorated war veteran with a UN Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, and Korean Pres. Unit Citation. He was employed at Los Alamos National Labs. His special interest was showing Chow Chow (dogs), fishing and camping. He served on the board for the National Chow Club, Rio Grand Chow Chow Club, National Society of Professional Engineers. He was a member of the Episcopal Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, George Milligan; mother, Minnie Pearl Milligan; father-in-law, Matthew Casbeer; mother-in-law, Olean Casbeer and spouse, Myrna Milligan.

Jack is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Marci and Kevin Dennehy of Moultonborough, New Hampshire; grandchildren, Kaitlin Dennehy Rough and Meghan Dennehy; great-grandchildren, Ainsley & Harper Rough.

Cody’s family would like to pay particular thanks and gratitude to Connie Perkins and her son Joey. They provided immeasurable support and love to Cody for the past 8 years.

Graveside Service will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501.
