Stephen Leslie McNair
October 10, 1951 - January 13, 2022

Stephen Leslie McNair of McKinney, Texas passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 70. He was born on October 10, 1951 to Leslie McNair and Janice (Crider) McNair in Denison, Texas. Steve and Sabrina were married for 40 years and had two children. He was a diligent worker who served his community proudly but still made time for his hobbies.

Steve had an Entrepreneurial mindset. He was the founder of FTP Consulting and served companies across the world for 30 years. Those whom he consulted remarked that he was a man of considerable knowledge and innovation, solving problems with creativity and finesse. This led to sustaining decades-long friendships with those he did business with. Steve served as a volunteer for the city of Southlake Fire and Police Departments, leading to his roles as President, then Director of Citizens on Patrol. He was passionate about growing plants and had a wealth of knowledge about how to care for them. He could grow just about anything. He also loved reading in his spare time. Though many saw him as strong-willed and determined, those close to him were lucky to see his sense of humor and comical character.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Sabrina McNair of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Sandahl Anderson and husband, Seth of Fairfield, Texas; son, Shea McNair and wife, Jessica of Keller, Texas; grandchildren, Steven Hank Alin Anderson and Samuel Cannon Anderson; and his sister, Laneice Farringer and husband, Russel.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Janice McNair.
