Jimmy Wayne Hill

November 18, 1960 - April 5, 2022

Jimmy Wayne Hill was born November 18, 1960 in Temple, Texas, the son of Bobby Joe and Ann (Glimp) Hill. He passed from this life April 5, 2022 in Round Rock, Texas at the age of 61.

Jimmy was raised in Waco and was very active in many clubs in organizations. He served as a Lifeguard at the YMCA and was a Cheerleader and member of the High School band at Jefferson Moore High School. He was a graduate of the Class of 1979. He then attended Texas A&M where he was a member of the Corp Cadets and the Aggie Band. He graduated from A&M in 1983.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a SSgt after 20 years of service. Jimmy and Kathleen Farrell were united in marriage on June 1, 2002 at the Marine Corps Logistics Base in Barstow, California. They moved to Texas in 2003. Jimmy continued to be an active member of clubs and organizations such as the VFW, the Marine Corps League and the Young Marines.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen; brother and sister-n-law, John and Kathy Hill of Robinson, Texas; brother-in-law, Brad Farrell of Detroit, Michigan; his fur babies, Fritz and Coco and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Texas A&M Aggie Band, 801 George Bush Dr, College Station, Texas 77843.
