Roll Call Tribute

Kenneth "KC" Cramer Jr. '68 December 23, 2021 10:45 AM updated: December 23, 2021 10:53 AM

Kenneth C. Cramer ("KC")
March 11, 1946 – December 13, 2021

Kenneth C. Cramer was a devoted and loving husband, father and friend. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Christine Cramer; his brother, Charles Cramer; his children, Doug Cramer '90, Vicki Russell and Jennifer Schroeder; his grandchildren, Sadie Russell and Ava Schroeder; his in-laws Irma Yowell, Charline Rivera, Bobbie Villareal, Deanna Rivera, Andy Villareal, Patti Cramer, Cameo Cramer and Jay Russell; as well as multiple nieces, nephews, and his beloved four-legged friend, Bitsy.

Kenneth graduated in 1968 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He was a very proud Aggie and member and supporter of the Texas A&M Century Club until his passing. He enjoyed a long and fruitful career with Texaco from 1968 to 1986 which took him to Amarillo, El Paso, and California. Returning to El Paso to spend the rest of his days, he embarked on a new journey as Vice President of James and Luther, Inc., where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2016.

Over his lifetime, Kenneth enjoyed playing golf, fishing, listening to music, gardening, watching police dramas and sports (and getting a kick out of it when the University of Texas would lose). He will be remembered for his kind heart, jolly laugh, and humor (especially the salty jokes) which are sure to bring family and friends joy for years to come.

Kenneth will be celebrated on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N. Resler Drive, El Paso, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:30 am and the Rosary memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service at the funeral home. Masks required.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Rescue Mission of El Paso (rmelp.org), an organization Kenneth believed in and supported over the years.

Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.MartinFuneralHomeWest.com for the Cramer family.
