Theron Elliott Mund
July 20, 1954 - December 05, 2021

Theron “Soto” Mund died December 5, 2021 in College Station “The Home of Aggie Land.”

Mr. Mund was born Theron Elliott Mund in 1954 in El Paso, to parents Alice and Arthur Mund, Jr, who have preceded him in death. Theron graduated from Southwest High School in San Antonio in 1972. He was very active and a leader in FFA. He was the District and Chapter President. Theron showed Dairy Cattle and was the president of the Rodeo Club. While at Texas A&M, Soto was part of the Dairy Judging Team. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1976 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science.

“Soto” is known for being a jokester and always trying to make people laugh. He adored his grandchildren and couldn’t help but spoil them whenever possible.

Theron is survived by his 2 children, Chad Mund and Krissy Thompson (Matt); their mother Laura; three grandchildren, Madisyn Mund, Trent Thompson, and Tyler Thompson; brother, Arthur J Mund III and his wife Tamela from Tolar; brother, Ronnie Mund and his wife Cara from Decatur; sister, Debra Amidon and her husband Chester from Tyler; two aunts, Gretchen Mund Beck from Round Rock, and Doris Marshall and husband Judson Bohannan from Bandera. Theron also had several nieces and nephews plus lots of cousins.

Visitation will be 5pm Friday, December 10, 2021 followed by a 6pm Memorial Service at Porter Loring West in San Antonio, TX.
