Robert Kenneth Williams
January 6, 1928 - July 24, 2021

Robert Kenneth Williams of Fairview, Texas passed away on July 24, 2021 at the age of 93. He was born on January 6, 1928 to Ledford and Sadie Malinda (Lewis) Williams in Fort Worth, Texas. Robert married Bobbie Dungan Williams on March 13, 1952 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a decorated veteran awarded the Purple Heart and the Silver Star Award before retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Robert graduated from Texas A&M with the class of 1948. He loved everything A&M and was a retired professor of biology at Texas A&M Commerce.

He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Williams of Fairview, Texas; children, Robert Terence Williams and wife, Diana of Fort Worth, Texas, Stephanie Williams and husband, James of Fairview, Texas, and Kenneth Scott Williams '82 and wife, Carolyn '82 of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, James Zachary Williams '07, Emily Lauren Mullin and husband, Trenton, Hayden Spencer Williams and wife, Gami, Grayson Wade Williams '17, Robert (Bobby) Donald Williams, and Julie Marie Williams; sister, Lurlene Villarreal; niece, Sandra Hauschka; great granddaughter, Madeleine Mullin; and numerous other loving family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.
