Richard Dwain Seitz
December 12, 1940 – October 5, 2021

Richard Dwain Seitz, born on December 12, 1940, passed away on October 5, 2021 at 80 years of age.

Formerly of both The Woodlands Township and McAllen, TX, Richard was a semi-retired Civil Engineer after having served as President of the Dannenbaum Engineering McAllen office. He was a proud graduate and supporter of Texas A&M University, even his personal vehicle color was Aggie maroon.

He was also the owner of his late mother’s company Fidelity Warehouse in the valley. In his much younger years before becoming an Engineer, he had taught math and also served as a law enforcement officer.

Richard is survived by his Loving wife Linda Seitz and beloved daughter Lauren Jones and her family, one grandson and one great-grandson, his brother and best friend David E Seitz and his family of Kerrville, San Antonio, and The Woodlands, his sisters Dolores Morris and family of The Woodlands, his sister Lana Worbington and family of McAllen and Houston, his many dear and beloved cousins from The Rio Grande Valley including the Walsh family, the Seitz family, and his very dear cousin Father Patrick Seitz, who will be performing the funeral service.

He is also survived by his work family and friends, who have always meant so very much to him and to all of us throughout the years. He was a very hard-working, intelligent, incredibly generous and kind man, who had a great sense of humor and greeted everyone with a smile. He is already so greatly missed.

Funeral service will be held at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home in The Woodlands, Texas on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 2:00pm with a public visitation prior to service starting at 1:00pm.

Interment will be held out of state at a future date.
