William Barkley Palm Jr. “Bill”
Sunday, January 16th, 1927 - Monday, May 4th, 2020

William Barkley Palm Jr. “Bill” went to live with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was reunited with his wife, Pat of 67 years.

Mr. Palm was born on January 16, 1927 in Waco, Texas, the only son of William Barkley Palm and Audrey C. Palm. Bill passed from this life to eternal peace on May 4, 2020 after a battling a brief illness. Mr. Palm graduated from Carrizo Springs High School and attended Texas A&M from which he graduated the Class of '48.

He was a veteran of World War II and served in the army where he was a Sargent while stationed in Italy. After his service and graduation he went to work for Nutrena Feeds, a division of Cargill Inc. as a salesman. Bill came to Mansfield to be the manager of Fosters Egg Farm in Britton Texas. He was the principal owner and broker of Mansfield Realty and Insurance company for many years. A resident of Mansfield Texas for 53 years where he was a Master Mason of Mansfield Lodge and a member of Mansfield Methodist Church.

Bill leaves behind two children, daughter, Kathleen P. Middleton III and husband Herb Middleton III of Vashti Texas; son, William B. Palm III and wife Trish Palm of Norwood Missouri; grandson, Bert Middleton IV and wife Melaina Middleton; great grandson Treb Middleton V of Decatur Texas; step granddaughter, Melissa Moore of Crowley Texas; step grandsons, Adam F. Davis of Fort Worth Texas, and Joseph A. Davis of Macomb Missouri.

Bill loved a neighborhood of special friends and acquaintances. On behalf of the Middleton family for Mr. Palm, we would like to thank all the friends and family that have shown their love and support during this difficult time in our family and nation.

There will not be a memorial service on behalf of Mr. Palm.

The family will be hosting a graveside service in Cundiff, Texas on family owned property. Kathleen is opening the invite to anyone who wants to attend, please reach out to her with any questions regarding service time and date.

In lieu of flowers, the Middleton family would like donations to be made to a charity of your choice.
