John E. Gumert '57

January 2, 1935 - September 29, 2021
John was a member of the Corps of Cadets and received his Bachelor's degree in Range Management from Texas A&M University. He was a member of the Class of 1957.
John had a career with US Department of Interior, retired as Chief, Title Records and Public Assistance.
John was formerly Chief of Public Affairs in Santa Fe, NM, Regional Office of US Bureau of Land Management.
Survivors: wife Shirley, one son, John M. Gumert; and one daughter, Claire A. Armstong. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great grandson.
