Ballard Andrew Guest, Jr.
June 3, 1934 - May 1, 2021

Ballard Andrew Guest, Jr. of Plano, Texas passed away on May 1, 2021 at the age of 86. He was born June 3, 1934 to Ballard Guest and Cleo (Miller) Guest in Salado, Texas. Ballard was a graduate of Texas A&M University. He married Mary Elizabeth (Rainbolt) Guest on August 28, 1955 in Belton, Texas and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage before her passing in 2020.

Ballard served his country proudly in the United States Army and earned the rank of Lt. Coronel before retiring. He also worked for Texas Instruments before retiring for a second time. Ballard loved fishing and woodworking.

He is survived by his sister, Pat Blair of Killeen, Texas; children, Brenda Guest of Wimberley, Texas, Ballard Guest, III and wife, Paige of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, Mark Guest and wife, Susan of Allen, Texas, Scott Guest and wife, Alisa of Wimberley, Texas; grandchildren, Thomas Guest and wife, Ashley, Carli Burke and husband, Robert, and Indy Guest; great-grandchildren, Emma Guest, Waylon Guest, and Hannah Burke; and numerous other loving family and friends.

Ballard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Guest; parents, Ballard, Sr. and Cleo Guest; brother, Michael Guest; nephew, Randy Blair '82; and granddaughter, Angela Guest.

Ballard will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 8, 2021 at North Belton Cemetery, 1500 North Main Street, Belton, Texas 76513.
