Bernard J. Haegelin
October 21, 1940 - September 28, 2021.

Bernard "Barney" Haegelin died peacefully in Houston, TX.  He was born in San Diego, TX.  

After graduating from Texas A&M in 1962, Barney practiced as a CPA in San Antonio, TX.  He loved archeology and Native American arts and crafts.  He was an avid reader, skilled flint knapping artisan and football enthusiast.  Barney was an advocate for cats and wildlife of all types.  He considered himself a lifelong learner.

Barney is survived by his sister, Barbara Haegelin Landrum; three daughters, Amy Wanke, Susan Sebba '91 and Jennifer Kandolha '00; and five grandchildren.  

His daughters would love to hear any stories of Barney's time in Aggieland that any of his classmates wish to share.
