Robert Terrill Gebert
June 25, 1955 – September 17, 2021

“The natural habitat of man is the wilderness. No matter how civilized he may become, his heart turns with longing to the woods, to the sea, and to the mountains.”

Robert Terrill “Terry” Gebert was born on June 25, 1955 in Orange, Tx to Bobby Jack and Frances Marie Gebert and passed away at his home in Richmond, Tx on September 17, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Terry was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and friend who spent his life caring for others. Terry was a second generation Aggie who graduated Cum Laude with a B.S in Electrical Engineering. His work endeavors with many companies including Fluor, Honeywell, and Rockwell Automation took him around the world many times - we called him the Gypsy.

Terry was an avid outdoorsmen - he loved to hike, fish, hunt, garden, and pickle & can food. He was a member of the Bighorn Sheep Society, the Rock Art Foundation, and he was a Colorado tree farmer on his Twisted Aspen Ranch. Terry was a very generous man who consistently donated to charities including the Texas Children’s Ambassadors Program, DePelchin Children’s Center, and the St. Labre Indian School.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and sister. He is survived by his wife, Helen Gebert, of 33 years, his brother Randy Gebert and his family, and his two sons Cody '12 and Dustin Gebert '18. Donations can be made to the above charities in honor of Terry.
