Funeral mass for Jesse George, Jr. age 66 of Palestine, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Jonathan Frels officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 28, 2021at Bailey & Foster Chapel, Palestine. Arrangements have been entrusted to Bailey & Foster Funeral Home.

Mr. George passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021in Palestine. He was born August 1, 1955 in Palestine, Texas to Jesse George, Sr. and Agnes Mona (Totah) George. Mr. George received his Masters degree in accounting and CPA certification and was the founder of George & Company. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.

Mr. George was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Elizabeth George, daughter, Sarah Elizabeth George, sons, Jesse George, III, Jacob George '07 and wife Myranda, Joseph George and wife Ana, Philip George '09 and wife Kathleen, sisters, Gina Lyke and husband David, Camille Hendrickson and husband Jim, brothers, Jeffrey George, Sr. and wife Kathy, Randy George, Sr. and wife Judy, eight grandchildren, Emily George, Eva George, Amelia George, Joe George, Jr., Ella George, Eliza George, Anthony George, and Penelope George.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Cliff Johnson, Dr. Barry James, Steve Presley, Andrew Totah, Adrian Mitchell, Frank George, Jr., and Dr. C.L. “Sparky” Kolstad. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Johnson, Curtis Fitzgerald, Jerry Laza, Bruce Barber, Dr. Michael Gorby, Jerry Fontaine, and Eddie Ray Bedre.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Vincent de Paul, 503 N. Queen St., Palestine, TX. 75801 or to the Stock Pot, 410 Avenue A, Palestine, TX. 75801.
