William Morgan Drum
January 18, 1933 - September 1, 2021
William Morgan "Bill" Drum passed away peacefully with his loving daughters by his side on September 1st. Born January 18, 1933 in Texarkana, TX to the late Mable Mae and William Alden Drum.
Bill was a graduate of Paschal High School in Ft. Worth, TX, and a proud graduate of Texas A&M University with an Electrical Engineering degree. He began his career with LTV in 1956 and remained with the company for 46 years officially retiring from Lockheed
Martin. He married the love of his life, Gail Dunbar Drum in 1966.
Their younger years were spent sailing at White Rock Lake as members of the Corinthian Sailing Club and skiing in New Mexico and Colorado with the Dallas Ski Club until their two daughters came along. Bill was an avid supporter of his daughters, coaching their
youth soccer teams. He and Gail rarely missed a soccer or field hockey game in or out of town! Bill set the bar high with his dedication to his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife and is survived by his daughters, Tricia Davidson & husband Ken, Lynn Lanyon & husband Mark; grandchildren, Kate Davidson, Kent & Henry Lanyon; cousin Ed Hansen & numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A Celebration of Life will be at 11AM on Friday, October 1st at Lovers Lane United Methodist Church with a reception immediately following.
