Debbie Villareal Turpin
October 07, 1963 - August 30, 2021

Debra “Debbie” Villareal Turpin was born in Houston, Texas on October 7, 1963, and passed away in Waco, Texas on August 30, 2021. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother and her family was her entire world. She met her husband Rick at the age of 17 and was happily married for 38 years. They were the definition of a true love story.

She was a stay-at-home Mom for many years and during that time she took on many roles throughout the upbringing of her daughters. She was a Girl Scout leader, drill team director, softball coach, PTO member, room mom, and the carpool to many other extracurricular activities. She then put herself through college, commuting to and from College Station, sometimes with 4 young girls in tow. She was dedicated to completing her education and was so proud to graduate as an Aggie in 1998. She then devoted her life to teaching Math and retired in May 2021, after 24 years of teaching. She spent 22 years at Tomball ISD, and finished her remaining 2 years at Groesbeck ISD, near their lake house in Limestone.

She was a stranger to no one; she was very well known in the Tomball/Magnolia community and was constantly running into former students. She spoke to them as if no time had passed at all. She was a leader, educator, motivator, and a true pillar of the community.

She loved to spend her free time with family and friends. She orchestrated large family vacations often and loved going to new places. She loved her nights out with the girls, but she also loved laying around in the sun with a good book. She liked to snuggle up with her “Hubby” and her pets. Holidays were always a special time for her, she carried out all the family traditions no matter how grown her “girls” got, she loved to decorate for the holidays, and bake pies. (She was famous for her Pecan pie)

Debbie touched so many lives from all walks of life and will truly be missed by all. Her sweet soul will never be forgotten.
