Andrea Lea Potts
July 3, 1974 - August 21, 2021

Andrea Lea Potts, 47, joined her Heavenly Father on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021.

She was born July 3,1974, in Fort Worth, Texas. Andrea was raised by her parents, Dianne (Martin) and Jerry Don (JD) Morrow along with her brother, Jeff Morrow.

As an adolescent and young teen, Andrea had a passion for horseback riding, barrel racing in particular. Her dad taught her to ride, trained her horses, made her horses' bits, and hauled her to barrel races and rodeos all over North Texas where she was a champion competitor.

Andrea married the love of her life, Barrett Potts, Oct. 17,1998, after dating him since April 29, 1992, when she was a senior at Azle High School. She visited several universities, quickly deciding Texas A&M University (TAMU) was the one for her ... no hesitation! She has been a loyal fan of TAMU since that time, even planning their wedding date around a home field football game. Although she loved everything maroon and white, her favorite color has always been some shade of green.

She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing in 1996, the same year Barrett graduated from TAMU. After moving to Arlington, Andrea and Barrett were blessed with the births of two daughters, Kylie and Lexi, who immediately became her focus. Andrea never missed a pep rally, volleyball or soccer game, or cheer event. She loved them and Barrett unconditionally, was always dependable, reliable and loyal to them in every circumstance. Her love was a precious gift to Kylie and Lexi, and it knew no bounds; her light will shine on through them.

Andrea was a marketing specialist for Cook Children's Strategic Marketing and Communications team. She was a member of the marketing team for more than 13 years, working with many areas across the system during that time. She was never without a smile, always ready for a good chat, and felt that all the people she worked with were more like a family than coworkers. Andrea loved helping the departments she supported because she valued making a difference for others.

Andrea was preceded in death by her beloved "Granny" (Virginia Martin Beene); Granddad, (Jeff Monroe Martin); "Mamaw" (lone Morrow Smith); father-in-law, Calvin Potts; nephew, Hudson Potts; and uncle, Donald Ray Martin.

She is survived by her husband, Barrett '96; two daughters, Kylie and Lexi; parents, Dianne and JD Morrow; brother, Jeff Morrow (wife, Reagan and children); mother and father-in-law, Beverly ("Honey") and Jerry Frazier; stepmother-in-Iaw, Pat Potts; Aunt Deborah Martin (son, Don Jr. and family); Aunt Shirley and Uncle Jerry Wayne Robbins (and family); Aunt Carrol ("Doot") and Uncle Jim Gurnham (and family); brother-in-law, Brad Potts (Ali and family); sisters-in-law, Debbie Weaver (and family) and Deann Wright (and family); as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and an abundance of close personal friends.
