Roy was born on April 17, 1937 and passed away on October 9, 1996.
Roy entered Texas A&M with the Class of '59 in the Fall of 1955 and majored in Electrical Engineering. He was a member of the Corps of Cadets and a first Lieutenant in W-Band. He was also a member of the Texas A&M Chapter of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers.
Roy was a resident of College Station, TX at the time of passing.
