Robert Lee “Bob” Hipp, Jr.
September 29, 1941 - August 18, 2021

Bob attended Jesse Jones High School in Houston, Texas and graduated in 1959. He was a student at Texas A&M University and was a member of the Corps of Cadets and the Aggie Players. While at A&M he resided in Hart Hall.

Bob was a member of the Men’s Swimming Team as well as the Men's Water Polo team. He received his Bachelor's degree in English from the College of Liberal Arts.

Bob was a Vietnam veteran who served in the US Navy.

Bob was pre-deceased by his father, Robert Lee Hipp Sr., and his brother, John Henry Hipp.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Faye Hipp, his sister, Mary Kathryn Stewart and her husband Chuck Stewart, his niece, Brandi Leigh Townsend, her children, Sutton Rhea Townsend and Mykel Anthony Townsend, and his niece Laura Yvonne Shephard, her children Atticus Troy Shephard and Owen Stewart Shephard.

Bob is loved and will be missed by his many friends and family.
