August 30, 1963 - August 1, 2021
Tammy Bosse, of Bryan and formerly of Brenham, passed away Sunday, August 1, 2021.
Tammy Elise Bosse was born August 30, 1963 in Brenham to Marvin and Anna Treptow Bosse. She was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Wiedeville. She attended Brenham schools where she excelled in academics and sports, playing basketball and softball. She graduated in 1981. Tammy then attended Blinn College and played basketball and volleyball. She was a 1983 graduate.Tammy then became an Aggie and received Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Kinesiology. She enjoyed attending Aggie football games, midnight yell practice and dancing with her many friends.
She began teaching and coaching girls’ basketball at Brenham High School. Upon moving to Bryan, she was employed by A&M Consolidated High School and then College Station High School. Tammy later coached at Allen Academy.
Tammy enjoyed traveling. The place she loved most was Tennessee, especially her many trips to Graceland. She paid tribute to Graceland, by naming her dog Gracie that preceded her in death.
Tammy was a very caring and compassionate person to others. She had a very kind heart and would do anything for others, even neglecting herself.
She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother Anna Bosse of Bryan; brothers Randall Paul Bosse of Brenham and David Aaron Bosse and wife Deborah of College Station; nieces, Beth Coursey and husband Jonathan, Rebecca Wieters, Elizabeth Hyatt and husband Joshua; nephew Lance Bosse; and special friend Scott Krivacka of East Bernard.
The family suggests donations to your favorite charity in Tammy’s memory.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 4th from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Brenham Memorial Chapel. Graveside services will be held Thursday, August 5th at 10:00 a.m. in Prairie Lea Cemetery.
