LTC William Nick Hollis
December 25, 1918 - February 05, 2005
Veteran of World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Served in the United States Army Air Corp during WWII as a B-26 bomber pilot and flew 67 missions out of England including those on D-Day. Recipient of the distinguished Flying Cross for heroism and extraordinary
achievement while in actual aerial combat in support of those operations. Also the recipient of the Air Medal with two silver oak leaf clusters and a bronze oak leaf cluster. Retired from the United States Air Force. Attended Texas A&M University majoring
